Zebe[3][4], also known as Enthusiastic Zebra[5], is a minor character in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. He is the designated driver of one of many party buses operating in the Systar System and is voiced by comedian Jimmy O. Yang.
Biography[]
Zebe is first seen visiting the spa on Planet Sparkles to prepare for the wedding ceremony at Space Temple.
After Lucy and the others are taken in for "extra treatment" (i.e. being subjected to loud pop music and given makeovers), Zebe can be seen waiting outside the spa for them inside a party bus.
Zebe drives the gang to the Space Temple where they serve as Batman's groomsmen and also attends the ceremony himself.
Zebe is later present in the Bin of Sto-rajj during the events of Armamageddon, though he does not take part in singing during "Everything's Not Awesome". After Lucy manages to rally the people of Apocalypseburg and the Systar System together, Zebe assists in escaping the Bin with everyone else and attempts to intercept Rex Dangervest's army of velociraptors. Zebe is not seen again for the rest of the film.
It is most likely Zebe was relocated to Syspocalypstar by the end of the story as both the Systar System and the town of Apocalypseburg were completely destroyed as a result of Armamageddon.

Appearance[]
Zebe is a purple brick-built anthropomorphic zebra with amber hair as well as a black muzzle and hooves. He is 16 studs wide with 1x3 legs.
When he first appears and also during the Matrimonial Ceremony, he is depicted wearing a white ritual robe with a gold belt and collar, though for the remainder of the film he wears a unique white vest with pink accents and a magenta badge.
Zebe's official model is noticeably smaller than his appearance in the movie and lacks posable arms. This version was designed specifically so that he could fit inside the cockpit of the Pop-Up Party Bus as he was not originally designed to be in scale with minifigures.[citation needed] This model depicts him with his bus driver uniform.
Personality[]
Zebe is an unmistakably bubbly and outgoing individual who loves having fun and making people smile. He has a generally positive outlook on life and is optimistic about the future, even when he is trapped inside the Bin of Sto-rajj and is unable to move.
That being said, he can also be somewhat absent-minded, as shown when he seemingly does not notice neither Lucy or Batman board the bus with everyone else when leaving for the Space Temple and fails to address it when Unikitty, MetalBeard and Benny all realize that they are missing and start to worry.
Zebe is very persuasive as evident by his enthusiasm to contribute to the Queen's ceremony (despite seemingly knowing nothing about Batman or his relationship with the Queen) as well as his trusting of Lucy as a leader when she rallies together everyone in the storage bin to fight back against Rex Dangervest.

- In Swahili, zebe is a noun meaning "fool" or "stupid person".[6][7]
- LEGO.com is responsible for naming Zebe. He is never mentioned by name in the movie and is listed simply as "Enthusiastic Zebra" in the end credits. He is also not referred to by any specific name by set designer Joel Baker or art director Tori Davis in a promotional video for the official LEGO YouTube channel.
- Interestingly, Zebe distinctly does not bear any stripes on his body despite being a zebra.
