- Within Norwegian legend, the Kraken was a gigantic polypus/decapodiformes that often wrecked and sank sailors ships. Its appearance, however, resembles the eponymous Creature from the 1954 horror film Creature from the Black Lagoon. A film that had been referenced earlier via The Swamp Creature.
- The Kraken was partially responsible for the defeat of his ally, Sauron.
- Most people and reviewers mistook the Kraken for the Kaiju Godzilla due to his blue fireballs being same color as Godzilla’s signature atomic breath, aquatic nature, and Wanter Bros co producing the MonsterVerse Godzilla movies.
