In The LEGO Movie, it appears as a male surgeon rather than a female like in the physical minifigure. The Surgeon is among the Master Builders to meet in Cloud Cuckoo Land.
The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part[]
In The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, the surgeon makes a cameo appearance when Rex Dangervest states that one of his many options is being a "Script Doctor" with the Surgeon character looking confused next to him. Here, the surgeon is back to being a female, just like she is in the Collectable Minifigures series.
