Michelangelo is a character and Master Builder in The LEGO Movie from the popular TV show and film franchise, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles..
Background
Michelangelo is one of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that works to battle crime. He is one of the Master Builders that attends the assembly of the Master Builders. During the meeting, Cloud Cuckoo Land is attacked by the Robo SWAT and he is captured and put in a Think Tank to have his creativity harvested. He is freed when Emmet jumps out of the window with the battery that was going to be used to kill him and all of the Master Builders.
Appearance
Michelangelo has a molded head with his eyes covered by an orange bandana. The back of his shell is a neck bracket piece and the front is printed on the torso with a dark brown belt on it. His legs are printed at the top with the rest of the shell.
Abilities and Skills
Michelangelo is shown to know how to use nunchucks and has the ability (at least in a deleted scene) to retract into his shell, leaving his head and arms out of sight and his legs shorter-looking. He is also acrobatic, as he is shown quickly back-flipping out of MetalBeard's way to avoid getting stepped on.
Trivia
- Michelangelo had several shots featuring him that were deleted, which were him retracting into his shell and him readying his nunchucks.
- The main reason for the removal of the retraction scene with him is probably due to the fact that his legs become small and spaced apart, making them less LEGO-like.
