–Bane After He Was Being Punched By Batman | ||
Bane is a villain who is a major enemy of Batman, who Batman considered his greatest enemy over The Joker. He is a minor antagonist and later anti-hero in The LEGO Batman Movie. He is voiced by Doug Benson.
Biography[]
Bane is hired by The Joker to attack Gotham City so Joker can use a bomb at a power plant. Bane follows The Scarecrow in his Toxic Truck, breaking through a barrier with a polite greeting. He later arrives and joins the attack on his enemy Batman, who easily takes him and Killer Croc out early in the fight. Bane then escapes.
Batman mentioned Bane when asked who his greatest enemy was.
Bane later joins Joker and all the other villains at the party of Batgirl, where after Joker hands himself in, he is punched by Batman, who wanted to prove to Joker that he had plenty of crime to fight without him. Bane tells Batman the punch was unnecessary, but Batman punches him again. Joker then traps Bane and all the other villains in a box, and they are all sent to Arkham Asylum.
He later gets out of Arkham and responds to Batman's Bat signal of him, along with all the other villains, declaring they will be the Joker's reckoning. He then fights the Uber Villians. After the fight, Batman lets him and the other villains go free, for the time being.
Personality[]
Bane is a hulking giant, yet his voice is more based on his movie self, being almost squeaky and unfitting to his appearance. Little of Bane's personality is shown on screen, yet he presumably has the same kind of personality as the other foes of Batman, being an evil villain who makes plans that are thwarted by Batman.
Trivia[]
- Although his voice and appearance generally follows the version seen in The Dark Knight Rises he uses Venom as he did in Batman and Robin.
